If you’ve been in a match recently, and have been following the Golden Cube these past few days, you’d have noticed that something has happened with it and the Believer Beach Cube.
For the last couple of days, the Golden Cube has been moving after leaving its initial spot near Holly Hedges, moving roughly every hour, with 10 minutes and 15 seconds*.
The Believer Beach cube had also been moving, however after moving forward, it returned to the previous location, as if it was waiting for somebody. And that was the case, because as seen earlier today, the Golden Cube approached the Believer Beach Cube’s spot, it levitated, and shot a beam directly to it. This whole thing, according to the files, is the “awakening” of the purple cubes, that the Golden one is supposed to do when near all of the other purple cubes. This means we’ll see this happening with all the purple cubes that we have on the island.

What’s next for the Golden Cube?
It’s estimated that the Golden Cube will go around the map awakening all of the purple cubes that are on the map, and that later, it will reach the middle of the island, along the other cubes. After starting the awakening of the one near Believer Beach, it has taken a few hours, and at the time of posting this, it still remains in that spot.

The Golden Cube has now finished the awakening process
Although not confirmed if the awakening is the reason, the purple cubes are supposed to spawn other “Mini-Cubes” that will follow their respective “parent”, who will respectively follow the Golden Cube to the center of the map.

Why is the the Blue Cube / Blevin not moving?
If you aren’t aware of the files, you may be wondering why is it that Blevin isn’t moving. The case with this cube is that he does not have any abilities to move like the others, currently in the files. It could happen that he moves later in the season, but another update will be required for it to get these abilities.
